Welcoming Chris Todtenhausen – New General Manager at PremierFBO Dayton

Premier welcomes Chris Todtenhausen as General Manager at our PremierFBO Dayton. Todtenhausen will lead the stellar team backed with the strong foundation developed by his predecessor Matthew Spaugy. With extensive experience and a passion for aviation, Todtenhausen exemplifies Premier’s commitment to providing the very best experience for all those utilizing our FBO’s. 

Early Passion for Aviation

Growing up near Lambert Airport in St. Louis, MO, Todtenhausen’s fascination with aviation started from a very young age watching Air Guard F4 Phantoms fly overhead. His experience in the industry spans a wide range of responsibilities and hands-on roles awarding him comprehensive understanding of what it takes to run an impressive FBO that keeps clients coming back. 

Extensive Aviation Experience 

Todtenhausen gained valuable lessons from serving at varying levels of FBO and MRO operations with distinctive experience leading complex operations. His operational experience spans across sales, environmental compliance, airport relations, HR and contract management. This encompassing familiarity and broad experience strengthens his ability to excel in his position as General Manager of Premier. 

Vision and Responsibilities at Premier Dayton

Todtenhausen brings an exciting vision to PremierFBO and plans to continue to strengthen the positive culture and efficiency in Dayton. With an experienced core team, he plans to grow the operation to support Premier’s abilities and resources to provide top-tier service to clients, prioritizing team sustainability and customer satisfaction. Additionally, he plans to align with Premier’s goals to drive strategic growth in fuel gallons and services.

The thoughtful and strategic expansion of FBO’s achieved by Premier attracted Todtenhausen’s attention and desire to be a part of a company with both strong roots and forward momentum. This trajectory inspired him to be part of Premier’s network and future growth. 

With a co-located MRO, Todtenhausen looks forward to expanding the opportunities created by the mutual support and growth of offering FBO and MRO services to clients. The strategic location of Dayton’s central U.S. location provides an exciting advantage for potential FBO additions and network expansion.
