The owner of the Hawker 800XP, currently stored with Premier at our FBO in Waterford, MI (PTK), approached our MRO team with a highly custom vision for the exterior paint of his aircraft as well as maintenance needs and Gogo avionics upgrade.
Our team revitalized the aircraft with style, performance and safety as the key highlights of this impressive project.
Custom Paint Work
The inspiration for the custom exterior paint made for a unique project. Working closely with the owner, our team curated designs and sourced custom-made aviation paint to achieve an end result that embodied the owner’s vision.
Gogo Avionics Upgrade
Premier’s avionics division removed the existing ATG-5000 Gogo WiFi system and replaced it with the superior Gogo L5 providing improved speeds, increased device support, and enhanced functionality.
To maximize performance of the L5 system, our team installed MB-13 Antennas enabling streamlined upgrades to Gogo’s evolving 5G network.
Maintenance and Inspections
In addition to performance enhancing upgrades and a stylish and modernized paint job, the MRO division completed all necessary inspections and scheduled maintenance including:
- All required structural x-rays of the aircraft
- Thorough pre-purchase survey to include logbook research.
- All scheduled inspections and due items completed.
- Rectification of all codes identified during pre-purchase survey.
- Completion of scheduled maintenance.
- Coordination with a third-party vendor to reinstate engines on the Honeywell engine warranty program
