PremierFBO had the unique opportunity to host the Aerostar Club Fly-In at our Dayton facility for the first time this October. Each year the club votes on a new host location and we are honored to have been selected for this year’s meet up.
The Aerostar Club’s annual weeklong event is an opportunity for members to reconnect and meet new owners. Premier organized ground transportation for all club members to get to and from their planned itinerary of activities throughout the week.
Arrival of 26 Aerostar Aircraft
The 26 aircraft started flying in on October 15th and our line service team ensured safe and seamless arrivals for the entirety of the Aerostar Club. One aircraft experienced a significant maintenance issue that Premier was able to arrange service quickly and safely to ensure the pilot could fly his aircraft back to California at the end of the event. This level of dedication and expertise ensured the pilot enjoyed his stay and is exemplary of the service Premier provides all of our customers.
Queen of the Fleet
Every year the Aerostar Club names one lucky aircraft, the Queen of the Fleet, as a longstanding club tradition. This year’s winner was Tom Cooke’s Aerostar Piper aircraft. As a 10-year restoration project and multi-million-dollar investment, the beautiful aircraft earned its new title as Queen of the Fleet.
Tom Cooke, who has been attending Aerostar events for over 10 years, stated, “It was the best convention I’ve ever been a part of. Syble and the line crew and everybody was great. From before we arrived, Syble stepped in to take care of rental cars and afterwards sent a thank you card which you don’t see anymore.”
Tom went on to share, “The people at PremierFBO were the best by far. No glitches. Really clean inside the FBO and the hangar was immaculate.”

Safe and Seamless Departure
With weather on the horizon for the departure date, our line crew and operations team worked quickly and efficiently to ensure safe take-offs for all aircraft. We fueled and prepared all aircraft, ensuring no delays in departures so pilots could safely fly ahead of the storm’s arrival.
PremierFBO is grateful for the Aerostar Owners Club and our amazing team for an incredible week that exemplifies what the aviation community is all about: connection, teamwork and comradery. A special thank you to Syble Brown, CSR at PremierFBO DAY, for her long hours of dedication and detail in the planning of the event and playing a major role in making this a huge win for the base. As a company filled with aviation enthusiasts, we were thrilled at this opportunity and look forward to hosting future events at our facilities.
