Premier Welcomes Bart Budman as Chief Financial Officer

More Than 25 Years of Finance and Leadership Experience

Premier is pleased to welcome Bart Budman as Chief Financial Officer, bringing more than 25 years of finance and leadership experience, including nearly two decades serving as a CFO or COO.

A Florida-licensed CPA, Bart holds both a BBA and MBA from the University of Miami. His career has included work with public, private, multinational and private-equity-backed companies, with extensive experience in aviation, MRO and FBO operations.

A Career Rooted in Aviation

Bart’s connection to aviation began while leading an outsourced CFO practice at Garcia, Espinosa, Miyares & Co., where aviation was one of the firm’s primary industries. In 2014, he moved into aviation full time as Vice President of Finance at AAR Landing Gear Services, part of AAR Corporation. He later held CFO roles with Commercial Jet, Ascent Aviation Services and Ocean Aviation.

Using Finance to Drive Operational Growth

Throughout his career, Bart has focused on using finance as more than a reporting function. He has partnered closely with CEOs and leadership teams to improve profitability, strengthen operations and support long-term growth. At Ascent Aviation Services, he helped guide an $88 million MRO/FBO operation from negative monthly EBITDA to approximately $1.5 million in monthly EBITDA while also supporting major facility expansion.

Supporting a Strong Financial Foundation for Growth

As Premier’s CFO, Bart will oversee accounting, financial reporting, budgeting and forecasting, treasury, tax, audit, risk management and financial systems. He will also work closely with Premier’s leadership team on growth strategies, capital decisions and operational performance.

“What excites me most is helping a company in growth mode support the financial foundation to scale with discipline,” Bart said. “That means sound systems, clear reporting and smart capital decisions, with no loss of the service and safety standards that set Premier apart.”

Outside of work, Bart enjoys sports, travel and spending time with his wife and four children.
